Understanding the Bread
of Life
An excellent talk for the feast of Corpus Christi!
...or for any other time in the liturgical
year. This college level presentation analyzes in detail the
sixth chapter of the Gospel of John. Its three pericopes are
studied at a verse level:
The Multiplication of Loaves
Jesus Walking over the Sea
The Discourse at the Synagogue in Capernaum

Understanding the Gospel of Luke
The Gospel of Luke is
studied from an exegetical point of view in 11 classes of 2
hours. The literary style, art, structure and theology of the
gospel are explained.
Students learn the exegesis method of the
Semiotic Analysis, and develop the interpretation of a pericope
of their choice along the class.
This class is presented at a college level,
but Mauricio helps even the novice bible student to understand
all the topics covered.

The
Father who had Two Sons
The story of
"The Prodigal Son" retold by the exegete.
In this lecture the pericope of The Prodigal
Son from the Gospel of Luke is dissected not only verse by
verse, but even at a word level with the purpose of
understanding its true meaning. Traditionally, we think of the
prodigal son as the main actor of this beautiful parable, but
this way its teaching is incomplete. After listening to this
talk, the audience will understand why modern scholars prefer to
title this pericope as "The Parable of the Loving Father".
This lecture is a perfect complement to the
curriculum of your Bible Study Group.

Learn a Biblical interpretation method based
on the Narrative and Semiotic analysis. Then, apply this method
